Contemporary garden with screening

A large family garden in London where the lawn was sloping upwards all the way to the back. We created a contemporary, formal seating area at the back of the garden surrounded by Olive trees, and with a stainless steel water feature.

To enhance privacy and minimise being overlooked by neighbours, we planted a series of pleached trees as a green, living screen. A platform around the mature cherry tree became a place to lounge with beanbags.

Slatted horizontal trellis contributed to the contemporary feel.
