Zen mosaic garden

A really interest project in Notting Hill, where the client made his house smaller to create space for this small, thin garden. The kitchen had one wall of glass doors that looked onto this garden all year round so it had to be something simple that looked good throughout the seasons.

The client wanted a zen garden - a minimalist and tranquil space. It would incorporate a unique mosaic water feature for which we commissioned artist Martin Cheek , who created this beautiful fish design which also doubled as a water feature.

Raised beds which double as seating in this small space. A simple Japanese Acer tree is a feature at one end, while bamboo were planted in front of wall-mounted mirrors to add depth and light to the garden.
