Charming cottage garden

A small garden in Kensington whose back garden was totally lneglected and overgrown. The clients wanted to dig a basement patio as part of a house redesign, and create steps from the new basement level up to the garden.

The client brief was for the planting to be 'charming' and in a cottage garden style. The garden layout includes a seating area at the back of the garden under a shady pergola, and garden beds filled with pretty herbaceous perennials for a soft, cottage garden look.
